Just a nother day in the life of Greg.
Trying to make my daughter laugh instead, she cryed. I didn't know why untill the picture came back. I was already crying do to the pain in my nose and eye.
It's a good thing to have the gospel in my life becouse I think chicks would dig this look.
Be Big, Be Bold, Be You.

Whats better the sun set or the sun rise???

As I get to see both almost everyday I find myself wondering which one I enjoy most. The sun going down is something almost everyone See's or can see everyday, but not all people get up at 5am to see just how peacefully the world is. As I was driving around my 100,000 ace farm I was able to enjoy the sight of about 80 head of elk which about 30 were bulls while about 10-15 were new Babbie's.
Now you really have to envision what I was seeing, as the moon was starting to go down for the night at 5:30 and the sun was starting to come over the hills it was reflecting on the lake that sits just to the south of the field that had been covered in snow with the family of elk bedding for the night in it. This is how most of my mornings are spent, looking for the lords hand in our amazing world of nature.
It is a wonder to me how we so easily get so rushed with life, not being able to stop and watch the sun that so many of us expect to be there in the morning to go up.

Wanna play with me???

As most of you know I have been on the Reserve for a few months and have learned a lot and had a lot of fun. My FTO Sargent Nash has taught me a lot about being a good cop and how to become a digger to get stuff off our streets. But as time has gone buy I have moved and am not able to give my time to the department as I would like to... but as any love anyone has ever had you can't keep myself away from the desire to "Protect and Serve" that I've had sense a little kid.
As I started a new Security job as a solo Officer working many hours and area I have had to be tactful on how I handle each situation working close with the Morrow County Sheriff Department. Yea.. you can already see were this is going. But they have showed int rest in me and want me to join the reserve program there. If you take a look at the car I'll be driving how could i say no.
So... If you're ever in Morrow County and "Wanna play with me..."

Ah spring has sprung.... wait it's the middle of January, were did the snow and cold weather go?

As I was sitting out side to day in my shorts and T-shirt enjoying the sun (yes, I said sun) at 55 degrees and no wind we call that here in the Northwest a Sunny day, even in January.
The snow is gone and well accepted by the dry dirt that sucked it right up, which in farm country means for good eatin' after harvest.
Ah to be back home, no pissed of Georgians blowin their horns to get a car ahead of me just to sit on the "Massive dam of cars" also know as the Georgia 400. Yes, I do miss those times but it just feels good to have to drive 40 miles one way to work and only have it take 20 minutes. As i sit in the yard of our house which is some what out in the country I am blessed to have no one to have to worry about when my dogs go running loose all day and Cora comes outta the house naked. I wouldn't trade this for anything.
My little girl is growing up, she reminded me today why I go to work when out of nowhere she says "Daddy go's to work, get me toys." That is all the reason I need to spend 70 hours away from my family a week.
My family is blessed to have what we do, as often we just sit around looking what we don't have I was reminded today as I looked into my little girls eyes as we play in our yard of all the many things God has blesses us with, ("A rock, look a leaf daddy, yuck...ycuk...dirt.") I love being Daddy and having my best friend by my side to bring these spirit children into our home and to return to our Father in Heaven again one day.
