As I was sitting out side to day in my shorts and T-shirt enjoying the sun (yes, I said sun) at 55 degrees and no wind we call that here in the Northwest a Sunny day, even in January.
The snow is gone and well accepted by the dry dirt that sucked it right up, which in farm country means for good eatin' after harvest.
Ah to be back home, no pissed of Georgians blowin their horns to get a car ahead of me just to sit on the "Massive dam of cars" also know as the Georgia 400. Yes, I do miss those times but it just feels good to have to drive 40 miles one way to work and only have it take 20 minutes. As i sit in the yard of our house which is some what out in the country I am blessed to have no one to have to worry about when my dogs go running loose all day and Cora comes outta the house naked. I wouldn't trade this for anything.
My little girl is growing up, she reminded me today why I go to work when out of nowhere she says "Daddy go's to work, get me toys." That is all the reason I need to spend 70 hours away from my family a week.
My family is blessed to have what we do, as often we just sit around looking what we don't have I was reminded today as I looked into my little girls eyes as we play in our yard of all the many things God has blesses us with, ("A rock, look a leaf daddy, yuck...ycuk...dirt.") I love being Daddy and having my best friend by my side to bring these spirit children into our home and to return to our Father in Heaven again one day.
