There is a question going around the web asking if America still needs Black History Month? After all we have a Black President....

This subject really caught me off guard because to me it is like saying,
I have God in my life after all theses troubles and years,
Now I don't need him any more. It just would not make sense to take away what America needed and continues to need. We are a very needy people and we as a people have put this topic (Racism) aside for to long. It is now time to make a Change, regardless of if Obama is our man we still need the change. If you don't know about the history it's time to learn make a change in yourself but don't change the future for our kids.

  1. Why is this even a question? Black history is part of American history. If we get rid of one, the other will have a huge gaping hole right through its center! Why not just forget about Benjamin Franklin and his discovery of electricity...after all, we have it now, who cares where it came from?
